When the servant did not invest the talents for the master, he did not follow his master’s will. His refusal to do the will of the master went against the teachings of Christ.
It can seem easier to fall away but it’s the wrong thing to do. Christ taught this parable for then and for now – to get our attention. May we follow Him in faith, help our brothers and sisters on the journey, and use our talents for His glory.
