Jesus’ intervention to raise the widow’s son was based in a gut feeling, he removed barriers of fear and distress. In the same way Jesus was her safety net. We can be a safety net for others through outreach.
But we need the right spirit. Have we changed? Are we truly following him? We must go, feel, follow and act. Like Jesus acted, may we act and outreach to the world with acts of compassion and peace.
