“For the one who is not against us is for us.” — Mark 9:40
With these words, Jesus acknowledged that not only believers but unbelievers recognized the power of His name to heal and to cast out demons. John wanted them to stop, but Jesus let them continue as His name was God’s gift to His people. Even today, let us not stand in the way of the name of Jesus … for there’s just something about that name!
