On the night of the Last Supper, we see Jesus spending time with His Disciples, breaking bread, sharing the cup, and reassuring them with His words and wisdom before the events of the crucifixion are set in motion.
The love and unity Jesus shared with the first cup became our communion – a gift from God. We are again invited to the Lord’s table to share this meal – as He feeds us.
