The life of Joseph shows that dreams really do come true. Some dreams are wonderful – like the 7 years of plenty – but what about the nightmares? The 7 years of famine, or for Joseph’s brothers, their nightmare was being chased by their dirty conscience from when they sold him into slavery.
The journey from a bad conscience to a clear conscience, trying to clear the stain is a difficult one. We are blessed that Jesus answered for all our sins. This is God’s remedy for Jesus’ followers and his oppressors, but also for our sins today. Thanks be to God!
