When the disciples were sent out by Jesus to spread the gospel, they came back with stories of success. Their vision of success was due to their efforts, and not due to the Holy Spirit. They wanted to see their efforts were successful in the same way we want to see our efforts succeed. But our focus is often on the material world and not on Christ. How can keep our sights on Him as we share The Word?
